Introduction

Mission Statement:

The St. George Airport Users Association seeks to develop the current and future St. George Airport into a premier regional business airport. The Association works to ensure continued business vitality for the airport, its services and facilities; works with St. George City and surrounding communities to improve community/airport relations and airport/airport user relations; and participates actively in efforts to develop and leverage the airport as a key component of regional economic development.


Strategic Objectives:

• Ensure the business viability of the current and future St. George, Utah (SGU) airport and its related businesses and services.
  

• Communicate to the community and the region, the critical importance of a business oriented regional airport in addition to the airport’s role in scheduled airline service and casual and recreational users.
  

• Ensure that the current and future airports remain an important element of the economic development of the region.
  

• Facilitate an open, cooperative relationship between the airport and airport users. This is particularly critical as the relocation of the airport is planned and carried out. The Association desires to facilitate a collaborative relationship that allows the new airport to be built in a timely, cost-effective, and quality manner.
